Monthly Favourites || October 2015

04:00

Happy Halloween! I'm going to admit, I was contemplating whether or not to do one of these this month because I haven't bought as much new nice things as I would have liked (saving that for November), buuuut, there was still some things worth mentioning so here's a lil tiny October Favourites post.

1. Sleek Ultra Mattes v1

I'm not going to say much about this because I dedicated an entire post to it a few weeks back (you can find that here). But this palette is giving me life. It's such a good dupe for the Urban Decay Electric Palette and it only costs €10.49. Such a winner, if you're brave enough to wear these colours, get one, if you like adding a teeny bit of colour to your make up, get one, if you're unsure whether or not you'd wear these colours but are curious anyway, get one. This palette is never a bad idea in my eyes.

2. SEVENTEEN Instant Glow Shimmer Brick

I recently changed my entire foundation routine to SEVENTEEN products because the quality of the products for the price is absolutely incredible. I'd heard of shimmer brick being an incredible highlight and admittedly, I'm a total newbie when it comes to highlighting but I just bit the bullet and bought it, since it was only €6.99 in Boots and it was the last one left, I had high hopes and it did not disappoint. SEVENTEEN is definitely my new favourite brand, they can do no wrong. Just look at that shine!!! I use the colour Pink Bronze.

3. Boots Botanics Skincare

I swear this post isn't sponsored by Boots, I tried not spending too much on make up this month which just ended up as me spending little amounts of money several times in Boots. I got these while they were half price, I picked up the Purifying Face Scrub and the Hydrating Night Cream in the All Bright line of the Botanics skincare range. I never really had a set skincare routine but I've been using the scrub every other night and the cream every night and in the mornings my skin just feels so nice, its significantly less dry and I'm even noticing my makeup lasting longer throughout the day since I started using these. And again, there's no arguing with that price,

Promise next month's favourites will be more interesting and fun because there'll be airport discount MAC bought and Illamasqua goodness from Manchester too!
